IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

I. The validity of a business license is one year, and the licensed company should either renew the license or request for official de-registration to avoid any fine and penalties.
II. Licenses are valid only inside special economic zone areas officially listed in Burundi Special Economic Zone. Clients shall not operate outside those premises without expressed written permission from ZES-Burundi.
III. On a request basis by the Authority, designated ZES-Burundi Company will be requested to submit audited reports prepared by firms registered with the Zone.
IV. Licenses as well as statutory information can be amended on request, with necessary approvals and payment of the relevant fees.
V. ZES-Burundi can carry out inspections of facilities allotted to companies.
VI. Licensees will be required to comply with ZES-Burundi and Customs regulations.
